A late 18th century Ralph Wood type Staffordshire toby jug, modelled as Admiral Lord Howe, wearing a tricorn hat, holding a full beer jug, seated on a barrel with sleeping dog under his right foot, on plinth base, af, height 10ins
Estimate: 400-600 UK pounds
Result:
Condition: Restoration to the corner of the hat possibly into the hair, front corner of the base repaired and pipe missing, large glaze chip at the back of the base, impact knock to the rim of the barrel resulting in a chip with associated crack.
